In 2024, fitness is a must for good health but it is also a booming industry and an always-trending social media topic. Everyone needs physical activity but preferences differ. For some, it is their daily cardio, and for others, it is weight training but for most, it is dance and sports.
Within this diverse fitness tapestry, our story brings us to the small town of Deogarh in Jharkhand, where a young entrepreneur is striving to make fitness fun through dance for everyone. Meet Priyanshu Raj, our proud customer and the business owner of B Elite.
At just 21, he's not just following fitness trends but setting a whole new rhythm for fitness and dance lovers. But how did he find his rhythm in a town that was just warming up to the idea of modern dances?
Priyanshu's journey began with a deep-rooted passion for the arts. For him, dance is a celebration, and he wanted to share that joy with his community. The allure of dancing led him to Mumbai, where he enrolled himself in a popular dance school.
Returning to Deogarh in November 2022, he set his sights on creating something special, which gave birth to B Elite after 3 months of research in March 2023, through which he shares his passion with the community. Priyanshu's motivation for venturing into the business is deeply personal, a fusion of overcoming struggles and addressing his family's financial conditions.
What sets Priyanshu apart is not just his mastery of dance but his unwavering commitment to B Elite. In his solo endeavor, he navigates his dance studio with the invaluable support of his parents. Despite financial challenges, Priyanshu's determination fuels the studio's success.
As the sole dance instructor, Priyanshu's journey from a certified dancer to a mentor is reflected in the diverse range of students he instructs, spanning from small kids to adults older than himself.
Challenges, however, were not in short supply. Financial constraints persisted, serving as a constant reminder of the uphill battle. Additionally, introducing the relatively unknown concepts of Zumba and fitness dances in Deogarh posed another hurdle. Priyanshu found himself not just managing a business but raising dance awareness among the Deogarh people.
Even though the business started with humble beginnings and a lack of students, Priyanshu's commitment and word of mouth turned the tide. In just 8 months, B Elite blossomed into a vibrant community, boasting over 150 students across various batches.
While reflecting on his journey, Priyanshu happily shared that "Being a solopreneur, managing business finances can be quite time-consuming. That's when I discovered Swipe.
