The government of Karnataka created the Seva Sindhu to deliver government services to the doorsteps of the citizens. This initiative shall be integrated with various delivery channels of the Government of Karnataka; citizen service centers such as Grama One, Janasevaka, Karnataka one, and Bangalore one and aims to bring all departmental services on one such platform.
The objective of the Seva Sindhu is to provide government services in a cashless, faceless, and paperless manner. It serves as a step towards the provision of accessible, cost-effective, accountable, and transparent government services to citizens.

Seva service provides hassle-free service delivery through reduced turnaround time, minimized visits to avail services, and reduced opportunity cost. Seva Sindhu also aids the department in simplifying the processes of the department by removing cumbersome, time-consuming, and non-value-added steps, thereby enhancing the citizen service delivery mechanism

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike or BBMP is the administrative body of Bangalore responsible for providing the basic civic amenities to the residents. It is the fourth-largest municipal corporation in India. Some of the important services provided by the BBMP are
1. Application for registration of new trade license
2. Building license issuance for units other than multi-storey buildings
3. Sanction of building plans in sites up to 2400 sq. ft. dimension for a residential single dwelling unit

1. Enter the URL www.Sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in in the web browser, the home page is displayed, and click on new user registration
2. on clicking the new user registration you will be directed toward the Digilocker page
3. enter the 16-digit Aadhar card number on the digilocker page
4. Click on the next page (OTP will be sent to the mobile number which is linked to the Aadhar number)
5. enter 6 digits OTP
6. Click on the continue button
7. Click on allow the button to get redirected toward the seva Sindhu page
8. enter email ID (optional)
9. enter your mobile number
10. set your password
11. enter Captcha
12. Click on the submit button
13. Click ok on the verification popup
14. enter OTP which will be shared with your registered mobile number
15. Click on validate button to validate your OTP
16. The registration successful button will be displayed
17. You will be able to log in to the seva Sindhu using your mobile number or email id soon
Seva Sindhu is the common citizen service portal/facility of the Government of Karnataka to provide government-related services and other information in one place. Seva Sindhu is implemented under the e-District Mission Mode Project (MMP) of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & IT, Government of India.
Seva Sindhu can be accessed online by the public using the Internet from anywhere or through identified service delivery centers at District/Taluk/Sub-division/Village level.
