Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities

The Ministry of Minority Affairs' (MOMA) flagship program is the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities, which also includes Pre- and Post-Matric scholarship programs. Financial limitations frequently prevent many deserving and academically gifted students from attending college. This further results in these students having unequal employment opportunities. Supporting the wards of families from minority communities is the aim of the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis), and Jains are recognized by the Indian government as minority communities; as a result, students who identify with one of these groups are qualified to apply for this MOMA scholarship.

Students from minority communities who are deserving and poor are given financial aid through the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities. It aims to give them the chance to enroll in professional and technical graduate- or postgraduate-level courses. In turn, this would give them a chance for a successful future.

Find out in this article if you qualify for this scholarship program, when applications are accepted, what benefits are included, and how to apply.
