Step 3: Fill in Part-B of the GST Registration Application

After filling in Part-A of the GST registration application, you need to fill in Part-B of the application form. Following are the steps to fill in Part-B of the GST registration application:

Step 1: Upload the Required Documents

You need to upload the required documents like the proof of business registration, proof of address, and bank account details.

Step 2: Enter the Business Details

In this step, you need to enter the business details like the nature of the business, the date of commencement of business, and the details of the authorized signatory.

Step 3: Verification of Details

In this step, you need to verify the details entered in Part-A and Part-B of the GST registration application. You can either verify the details yourself or authorize a chartered accountant or a company secretary to verify the details on your behalf.

Step 4: Submit the Application

After verifying the details, you need to submit the GST registration application. Once the application is submitted, you will receive an acknowledgement number on your registered email address and mobile number.

After submitting the GST registration application, it will be verified by the GST officer. If the GST officer finds any discrepancies in the application, he will ask for additional information or documents. Once the GST officer is satisfied with the application, he will approve the GST registration application.

Step 5: Issuance of GST Registration Certificate

After the GST registration application is approved, the GST officer will issue the GST registration certificate. The GST registration certificate contains the GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) and other details like the legal name of the business, the trade name, and the address of the business.
