The growth of digital payments in India is being driven by increased usage of online banking and mobile applications. RTGS, NEFT and IMPS are three of the most widely used methods to send/receive money from one bank account to another electronically. Even though these three types of transactions can all be used to transfer funds electronically, each has its own set of characteristics that makes them suitable for different circumstances.
