3. Deemed Exports

Time Limit for Refund Claim

General refund claim: 2 years from the relevant date.‍
Export refund: 1 year from the relevant date.

This refund date means the date where the refund calculation starts. If you file a refund claim late, then it can be rejected.

Refund Application - Form RFD-01 has to be submitted on the GST portal.‍
Acknowledgments - Acknowledgement is generated after the application is submitted.‍

Refund Sanction - If the verification is correct, the refund is approved.‍
Refund Disbursement - The approved amount is directly transferred to the taxpayer’s Bank account.
